This table was commissioned by several individuals, not I believe because welded pipes are a conversation piece. I believe, when design is furthered by art, and is “useful,” it moves everything forward: design, art, utility.

Welded steel with glass top, c. 1983. 12.25" high, 20" wide, 18" length.
