London Street Photos
I had never been to London before this trip. By my second day there, I wondered what I’d been thinking by passing it up all my life.
I spent most of my first week there lost in its maze of traffic-filled streets with my camera in hand. Historic sites, markets, parks, modern architecture, a shoreline along the Thames - there was something to photograph wherever I went. And with so many tourists walking around, no one paid much attention to just one more person making pictures.
And when I wasn't making pictures, there were plenty of excellent restaurants, pubs, and free museums, plus the underground Tube with helpful attendants that made the system easy to navigate.
For this trip, I took only my OMD EM1-Mark II, a Micro Four Thirds camera (small sensor) and four or five lenses . The lightweight kit that made it possible to walk around all day without a heavy bag and strap weighing into my shoulder.
