NO KINGS protest in DC
It was restorative to be around the hundreds of thousands of people who came out to speak out at the No Kings protest in Washington this week. Contrary to predictions from the White House down through the Congress and right-wing news organizations of a violent "Hate America Rally," it was to the contrary, an overarching projection of peace by like-minded citizens worried about the path this country is taking under present-day leadership. For many, It was a reminder that those who abhor and oppose the daily drama of madness are not alone. Any rage of the crowd was relegated to the myriad of protest signs worn, carried, or hoisted high overhead.
Oh, and a p.s. I did not see any of the predicted criminals, vandals, or terrorists and nobody funded me, though I did get a photo of one lady identified as Aunt Tifa!
